Jimi Hendrix (1942-1970) was an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter who is widely regarded as one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. He is best known for his innovative approach to the electric guitar and his iconic performances at the Monterey Pop Festival and Woodstock. Hendrix died tragically at the age of 27.
